Mark Fredrickson  lives and works in Arizona. In Tennessee Temple College, Mark has studied painting and photography, but in the final year of his interest shifted to the side of commercial illustration. After college, Mark worked as an illustrator of 4 years in the newspaper The Arizona Daily Star. Currently, Mark works as a freelance illustrator. His clients include Atlantic Monthly, Levi Strauss, Mead Products, Omni, Random House, and many others.

Man with hammer goes on mall rampage. A man wielding a hammer wreaked havoc on a Newington, N.H., mall on Thursday, when he ran around and smashed glass storefronts and display cases. No one was hurt Michael Williams, 34, of Dover, Del., was charged with felony criminal mischief.A Dover man is due in court Friday morning after police said he ran through the Fox Run Mall in Newington Thursday smashing windows and display cases with a hammer at six stores.



Miss India detained at airport. Mumbai: Miss India Earth 2011 Hasleen Kaur was detained at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport on Wednesday night for allegedly carrying branded purses and cosmetics worth Rs. 1.9 lakh without declaring them.

According to Custom officials, Superintendent of Customs Ashok Pandit intercepted Kaur, who had arrived at the airport from Thailand on Wednesday night.

The officials revealed that Hasleen Kaur was carrying branded purses and cosmetics, which she hadn't declared. When the officials approached her and stated that they intended to check the goods, she told them that the purses she was carrying were local products.

Panda Cub Sees First Snow, There was snow at the San Diego Zoo on Thursday morning. Animal care staff arranged a winter wonderland for two of its pandas, Bai Yun and her two-year-old son, Yun Zi. This is the first time that the young panda had ever seen snow. He came out of his bedroom, tested the snow to see if he could walk on it, and then made his way from one corner of the exhibit to the other.

Zoo horticulture staff constructed a 5-foot holiday tree from two types of bamboo – oldhamii and vivax – that was shaped to resemble a pine tree. They used a large block of ice for the tree stand but it was no match for Yun Zi. He approached the tree, swiftly knocked it over and nibbled the slices of fruit and vegetables that were hung as ornaments.

An architecture firm said Friday it “regrets” a bizarre design for two high-rises in Korea reminds people of the twin towers exploding on 9/11.

A mockup shows two soaring skyscrapers connected in the middle by a “pixelated cloud” that evoked the clouds of debris that erupted from the iconic World Trade Center towers after terrorists flew planes into them.

“What the hell were these architects thinking?” asked the headline on a Gizmodo article about the plans for the Seoul apartment buildings.
